Official Iridex server rules
These apply in the official Iridex Discord server. You agree to them (and get access past #welcome and #rules) by clicking I Agree in the rules channel.
- Follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
- Be respectful, no harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
- No spam, self-promotion, or unsolicited advertising.
- Keep NSFW content out entirely.
- Use the right channel for the right thing. Questions in #get-help or a #tickets post, chat in #general.
- Staff decisions are final. Take disputes to DMs, not public channels.
By using this server (and Iridex itself) you also agree to Iridex's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
How Iridex is meant to be used
Iridex is a general-purpose server bot: moderation, tickets, welcome/leave messages, self-assignable roles, a small economy, and some games. It's built to be configured once on the dashboard and then mostly left alone.
- Configure it for your own server. Moderation logging, welcome messages, tickets, reaction roles, whatever you actually need.
- Use the economy and games commands (
/daily,/slots,/trivia, etc.) for fun. They're not designed to be fair enough to treat as anything more than that. - Report bugs or ask for help in the support server's #get-help or #tickets.
How Iridex is not meant to be used
- Don't use it to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. that includes using Iridex's moderation tools to harass members, or its ticket/DM features to spam people.
- Don't try to exploit, reverse-engineer, rate-limit-abuse, or overload the bot or its API. See Terms of Service §3.
- Don't rely on the economy balances (
/balance,/pay, etc.) as anything real. They're a game feature stored in our database, not currency, and can be reset or adjusted if abused. - Don't use
/echoor any admin command to impersonate Discord, Iridex staff, or another user in a way meant to deceive people. - Don't use the dashboard's server settings to configure Iridex in a way that breaks Discord's rules for the members of your server. You're responsible for how you configure it (see Terms of Service §4).
Breaking these on a server you manage can get Iridex's access to that server revoked. Breaking them in the official server gets you removed from it.
