Updates and announcements from the Iridex team.

Iridex 1.3.1: a smarter leaderboard, real growth charts, and a faster site

A focused update - mostly things you'll notice without anyone telling you.

Leaderboard, redone

/leaderboard is one command again with a scope choice (this server or global), instead of two separate subcommands cluttering the picker. Server coins is a real thing now too - it ranks the richest among people actually active in this server, not the same global list every server saw. Every board also draws a bar-chart image labelled with real usernames, not just ranks.

/serverinfo grows a chart

Member growth is part of the main /serverinfo card now - no second button, no second message. It reads the last 30 days straight off the card.

Consistent everywhere

Every moderation command and confirmation now shares the same themed look - no more a grab-bag of random emoji from one command to the next. /lock, /timeout, /unban, /vckick and a dozen others all read the same way now.

Five new commands

  • /weather - current conditions for any place
  • /define - English dictionary lookups
  • /color - hex/RGB/named colour preview with a swatch image
  • /emoji - full-size custom emoji info
  • /addemoji - add an emoji to your server from an image or an existing one

Dashboard

Every field that accepts a %placeholder% now has a ? button next to it listing exactly which ones it supports - click one to drop it straight into the field.

Under the hood

The homepage, dashboard and wiki all load faster (every script now loads in parallel instead of one at a time). DM All broadcasts move through large servers noticeably quicker. A sync bug that could leave a server the bot had already left still showing as active is fixed.

Iridex 1.3: new modules, a redesigned dashboard, and a price change

A big one. Here's everything that's new since the last update.

New modules

  • Anti-Scam blocks phishing links, fake Nitro and gift-card pitches, IP-grabber links, and link-dropping brand-new accounts.
  • Word Filter handles racial slurs, sexual slurs, other slurs, harassment and swearing separately, each with its own action. Allow or block any category in specific channels, and allow specific words.
  • Suggestions lets members post ideas, vote, and have staff approve or deny them, with editable card colors and button colors.
  • Temporary Voice creates a private voice channel when someone joins a "create" channel, and cleans it up when it's empty.
  • Shop and inventory lets members spend their coins on roles and items with /shop and /inventory.

Improvements

  • Scheduled messages can now post daily, on weekdays or weekends, or on a chosen day at a set time in your server's timezone, as plain text or a styled card, with an optional role ping.
  • Ticket transcripts can be downloaded as .txt or .html, and are sent to the log channel and to whoever opened the ticket when it closes, as a clean record card with a button to read it online.
  • Tickets gained editable claim and close message colors, bigger titles, and a fix for opening a ticket when a support role had been deleted.
  • Every message color is now optional. Any accent color on the dashboard can be switched off with "No color", and game commands like /blackjack, /slots, /coinflip and /work no longer carry one at all.
  • 74 new templates for welcome, leave, tickets, embeds, autoresponder, auto message, sticky, starboard, giveaways, auto moderation and every new module.
  • Live previews in the dashboard now look like the Components V2 messages Iridex actually posts.
  • /work now unlocks jobs with job experience: pick any unlocked job when you start, and see what's still locked.
  • Partners: owners can request a partnership with a button in the support server, and a server is removed from the partner list automatically if Iridex leaves it.

A redesigned dashboard

Module settings were rebuilt: every setting is now a row you can scan, each page has a jump-to-section list down the side, Save follows you down long pages, and the whole site - homepage, dashboard, wiki and status - got a cleaner, deeper look with proper hover and focus states. The site is fully translated into 12 languages, including every dynamic page.

Status page

status.iridex.me shows live status for every part of Iridex with 90 days of history and an incident log, and the same card stays up to date in the support server's #status channel.

Dashboard app

The Iridex Dashboard desktop app is now version 1.3.

Find us

Iridex is now on YouTube and Instagram.

You can also reach us at [email protected]. It is best kept for legal matters or direct contact with the team - for help with the bot, a support ticket in the Discord is far faster.

Supporter pricing

Supporter is now $3/month or $32/year. We decided $1 was too low to keep the project alive. Nothing on the free plan has changed.

Thank you for using Iridex.

Supporter is now $3/month ($32/year)

We're raising the Supporter price from $1/month to $3/month ($32/year).

Honestly, $1 wasn't sustainable, and it didn't come close to covering hosting, and it meant Supporter wasn't actually helping keep Iridex running. $3 does.

Nothing on the free plan is changing. Free still covers every core module, same as always. Supporter just adds custom commands, priority support, and the Supporter role/badge on top.

A few other things that shipped recently while we were at it:

  • A public status page at status.iridex.me - live system status, 90-day uptime history, and an incident log
  • Smoother plan-page toggle between monthly/yearly billing
  • /work cleaned up into one action option (Start / Shift / Raise / Quit)

Thanks for supporting the project, it genuinely keeps this going.

Tickets, templates, and a lot more

A second wave of shipping right on the heels of the last roundup. Here's what's new:

Ticket overhaul. Staff roles, claim and close message customization, a configurable close delay, ticket type dropdowns with their own banners and previews, per-panel priority and auto-close, and full transcripts you can view after a ticket closes.

Templates. Welcome, Leave, Tickets, Autoresponder, Message Embedder and DM All all ship with ready-made starter templates now. Browse and import one straight into your server from the new Templates tab on any server's settings page.

Moderation ladder and appeals. Automatically escalate after a set number of warnings, and let members appeal a ban, kick, timeout or warning right from their DM.

Bot Identity. A Supporter perk: give Iridex its own nickname, avatar, bio and banner per server.

DM All. Draft an embed or plain message and send it to every current member of your server.

Milestone giveaways, plus consistent DM notifications on every moderation action.

Security. The API now enforces real per-IP rate limits, on top of the bot's own protection against interaction floods.

Plus a long list of smaller fixes: duplicate ticket opens, a corrupted ticket preview, resizable text boxes, several crash-causing timing bugs, and more.

Thanks for using Iridex. More soon.

Everything since launch

A lot has shipped since Iridex first went live. Here's the full picture in one place, and this is just the start.

Desktop app - A native Windows app for the dashboard, with in-app auto-update and a themed installer.

Bot Identity - Give Iridex a different nickname, avatar and bio per server. A Supporter perk.

Transcripts - Tickets and giveaways both keep a full, viewable record after they close.

Staff access - Grant specific staff dashboard access without handing over full Administrator.

Dashboard logs - A full history of who changed what, and when.

Leaderboard popups - Click any name on the voice-time leaderboard to see their badges and profile.

Wiki improvements - Link fixes and cleanup across wiki.iridex.me.

Translations - The dashboard now speaks 12 languages.

Everything else - Auto-moderation, reaction roles, autoresponder, scheduled messages, and dozens of smaller fixes along the way.

Thank you for being part of Iridex from the start.

Welcome to Iridex

Thanks for checking out Iridex. We built it to be one bot that actually covers everything a server needs: moderation, tickets, welcome messages, temp roles, stats, and a handful of games, all configured from a web dashboard instead of a wall of slash commands you have to memorize.

This news page is where we will post what is new: fresh commands, new modules, fixes, whatever ships. Check back here whenever you want to know what changed, or just keep an eye on the servers you run Iridex in.

Glad you are here.
